Hello friends! If you're new to my writing, my name is Nate Birt and I'm a twice-published nonfiction author turned author of supernatural thriller and horror stories. I also run a consulting business called Silver Maple Strategies, in which I help nonprofit executives accelerate climate-change solutions, especially in food and agriculture. I'm deeply afraid of mice. Existential dread is nothing new to me. And arguably, those of us who love the horror genre flock to it - both because it scares us and because it reveals new and deep truths about ourselves and the state of the world we all share.
